Purpose of the Policy

At Titans Pet PK, we are committed to ensuring a secure, responsible, and ethical digital environment for pet buyers, sellers, and service providers across Pakistan. This policy outlines the process through which we review user-submitted content, handle reports, and enforce compliance with our platform standards—preventing fraud, abuse, exploitation, or illegal trade practices.

Scope

This policy applies to:

  • All users on our platform, including individual pet owners, breeders, pet service providers, accessory vendors, and veterinarians
  • Any content posted on the Titans Pet PK website, Android/iOS apps, and affiliated digital or social media platforms
  • Listings of pets, pet products, services, and animal-related events
Moderation System

Titans Pet PK uses a hybrid moderation approach, combining:

  • Automated tools to identify inappropriate language, repeated ad postings, potential scams, and banned keywords
  • Manual review by our trained moderation team, who ensure all content aligns with platform guidelines and applicable laws in Pakistan

All listings undergo manual moderation before going live, ensuring:

  • Authenticity of listing details
  • Compliance with The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1890, Punjab Animals Slaughter Control Act, 1963, and relevant breeding regulations
  • Ethical treatment of animals and accurate information
Moderated Content Categories
  • Pet listings – descriptions, images, videos
  • Accessory & product ads – including pricing and claims
  • Veterinary & service provider listings
  • User profile details – names, bios, photos
  • In-app communication – messages, comments (where applicable)
  • Event promotions – pet shows, awareness drives, adoption days

We ensure content is:

  • Not in violation of local breeding standards, animal health laws, or Islamic ethical guidelines
  • Free from misleading, harmful, or abusive language
  • Compliant with PECA 2016 (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act), particularly for online impersonation or misuse of data
Prohibited Content – Examples
  • Listings of underage pets (under 8 weeks)
  • Usage of stock photos, misleading or watermarked images
  • Descriptions that imply illegal breeding or trade (e.g., banned or aggressive dog breeds)
  • False breeder claims (e.g., “Registered Breeder” without valid certificate)
  • Listings with non-existent animals, incorrect locations, or fake contact info
  • Duplicate ads or reposted listings without significant updates
  • Offensive, discriminatory, or hate-based language in any form
User Reporting System

Users can notify content they see as suspicious, abusive, or unethical through:

Post-Reporting Process

After a report is submitted:

  • Acknowledgment: You will get verification that your report statement is received.
  • Review Phase: Our moderation team will investigate the listing/account.
  • Actions May Include:
    • No action (if the report is invalid)
    • Issuing a warning to the user
    • Content takedown or temporary suspension
    • Permanent ban for serious violations (with no refund for paid services)
  • Follow-Up: We may contact the reporter for clarification if required.
Repeat Offenses & Policy Breaches

Users who repeatedly violate platform rules or attempt to bypass moderation will face:

  • Content rejection or deactivation
  • Account suspension (temporary or permanent)
  • For extreme violations involving fraud, impersonation, or animal cruelty, we reserve the right to report the user to relevant authorities under PECA 2016, local animal welfare departments, or FIA cybercrime wing
Abuse of the Reporting System

False, abusive, or malicious use of the reporting function is taken seriously. Users who misuse the reporting feature may:

  • Receive a formal warning
  • Lose access to the reporting option
  • Be suspended from the platform
Policy Updates

This policy can be updated based on:

  • Amendments to Pakistani animal welfare laws, cyber laws, and e-commerce regulations
  • Platform improvements or security upgrades
  • Feedback from users and community moderators
