Reptile Gel Food in Pakistan

Reptile gel food is a powdered diet you mix with water to form a smooth paste or gel. It is the main food for crested geckos and gargoyle geckos, and is also offered to day geckos and some other fruit-eating species. In Pakistan, sellers list Repashy complete gecko diets in fruit, insect and mixed flavours, sometimes in smaller repacked portions. Check the powder is dry and sealed and that the formula is labelled complete. Compare prices and message sellers directly in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Multan. Tip: replace prepared gel every day or two, since it spoils quickly in warm, humid enclosures.

Frequently asked questions

Which reptiles eat gel food?

Crested geckos and gargoyle geckos are the main species fed on gel or powdered diets. Day geckos and leachianus geckos also accept them. Most insectivorous lizards, like leopard geckos and bearded dragons, need live insects instead.

How do I mix reptile gel food?

Combine the powder with water in the ratio on the pack, usually around one part powder to two parts water, and stir until smooth. Serve in a shallow dish placed high in the enclosure for arboreal geckos.

How often should a crested gecko be fed?

Adult crested geckos are commonly offered fresh gel every other day, while juveniles may be fed daily. Some keepers add a few gut-loaded insects weekly for variety. Remove old food to prevent mould and fruit flies.

Can I store mixed gel food?

Mixed food can be kept covered in the fridge for a couple of days, but fresh is best. Dry powder should be stored sealed in a cool place away from moisture to keep vitamins stable until the expiry date.

What affects the price of reptile gel food?

Price depends on the brand, pack weight, flavour or formula, whether it is sealed or repacked, and imported supply. Compare listings on this page and ask sellers about expiry dates and how many feeds a pack provides.
