Alligator Fish in Pakistan

Alligator fish, better known as the alligator gar, is a North American predator with a long snout, rows of sharp teeth and an armoured, torpedo-shaped body. Hobbyists in Pakistan usually buy small juveniles, but this species grows very large and eventually needs a huge tank or a secure outdoor pond. Before buying, check that the fish swims steadily, eats readily and has no damaged scales or cloudy eyes. Browse listings from Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad, compare prices and message sellers directly. Never release a gar into rivers, canals or lakes, as it can harm native fish.
