Trust & Safety

Our Commitment to Trust and Safety
Titans Pet PK connects pet owners, breeders, adopters, veterinarians, groomers, trainers, pet product vendors, and other service providers across Pakistan. Every interaction on the platform involves either a living animal or a person who cares for one, so safety is not an add-on for us; it is the foundation of how the platform is built and run.
This page explains how we protect users and animals, what we expect from everyone on the platform, and what you can do to stay safe while buying, selling, adopting, or booking services through Titans Pet PK in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, and every other city we serve.
How We Keep the Platform Safe
- Listing review: Pet listings are reviewed by our moderation team before they go live, alongside automated checks for banned keywords, repeated postings, and known scam patterns. Details are set out in our Moderation & Reporting Policy.
- Account verification: Users can verify their phone number and account details. Verified sellers, breeders, and service providers display a verification badge so buyers can make informed choices. See our User Verification Policy.
- Secure accounts: We use encrypted connections, secure login sessions, and suspicious-activity monitoring to protect accounts from unauthorised access.
- Protected transactions: Orders placed through the Titans Pet PK Pet Mall and services booked through the platform are recorded, so disputes can be reviewed against a clear history. See our Refund & Dispute Policy.
- Reporting tools: Every listing, profile, and conversation can be reported directly to our team.
Animal Welfare Standards
Titans Pet PK does not allow listings or behaviour that put animals at risk. In particular, the following are not permitted:
- Listing puppies, kittens, or other young animals under 8 weeks of age, or separated from their mother too early
- Selling sick, injured, or visibly distressed animals without full and honest disclosure
- Any form of animal cruelty, fighting, or the promotion of animal fighting
- Listing protected, endangered, or wild-caught species, or any animal whose trade is restricted under the Pakistan Trade Control of Wild Fauna and Flora Act, 2012 or provincial wildlife protection laws
- False health, vaccination, pedigree, or breeder registration claims
Listings that breach the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1890 or applicable provincial laws are removed, and serious cases may be reported to the relevant animal welfare or wildlife authorities. Our Pet Welfare & Ethical Sales Charter and Endangered Animals page explain these standards in more detail.
Staying Safe as a Buyer
- Meet the animal first. Wherever possible, see the pet in person, in a safe public place or at the seller's premises, before paying.
- Ask for records. Request vaccination cards, deworming history, and vet certificates, and check them with a veterinarian if you are unsure.
- Avoid advance payments to strangers. Be cautious of sellers who insist on full payment, "delivery charges", or "insurance fees" before you have seen the animal.
- Watch for red flags. Prices far below the market rate, stock or watermarked photos, pressure to decide quickly, and refusal to video call are common signs of a scam.
- Keep communication on the platform. Conversations held on Titans Pet PK can be reviewed if something goes wrong; off-platform chats cannot.
Staying Safe as a Seller or Service Provider
- Never share one-time passwords (OTPs), banking PINs, or account passwords with anyone, including people claiming to be from Titans Pet PK. Our team will never ask for them.
- Confirm that payments have actually reached your account before handing over an animal or product. Do not rely on screenshots or SMS messages alone.
- Be wary of buyers who overpay and ask for a refund of the difference, or who request your details to "verify" a payment.
- Provide honest descriptions and recent photos. Accurate listings reduce disputes and build your reputation.
Protecting Your Personal Information
Only share the personal information needed to complete a transaction or booking. Avoid posting your home address, CNIC number, or financial details in listings or public messages. How we collect, use, and protect your data is explained in our Privacy Policy and Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
Reporting a Problem
If you see a suspicious listing, experience fraud or harassment, or are concerned about an animal's welfare:
- Use the Report option on the listing, profile, or conversation, or
- Contact us at info@titanspet.pk or on WhatsApp at +92 335 0180181 with the listing link, screenshots, and any payment details.
We review reports as quickly as possible. Depending on the severity, we may remove content, restrict or suspend accounts, and preserve records for law enforcement. Cases involving online fraud, impersonation, or harassment may be referred to the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016. If you have lost money or are in immediate danger, please also contact the police or the NCCIA directly.
Our Limits
Titans Pet PK is a marketplace and directory. Unless an order is placed through our Pet Mall, we are not a party to the sale and we do not physically inspect animals, products, or premises. While we work hard to keep the platform safe, users remain responsible for their own due diligence. Our full responsibilities are set out in our Terms & Conditions.
