Cut-Throat Finch in Pakistan

The cut-throat finch is an African finch named after the bright red band across the male’s throat, which makes pairs easy to tell apart. Its scaled brown plumage and lively character have made it a favourite with aviary keepers. Listings on this page include pairs and breeding birds from hobbyists in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. Check for clean feathers, clear eyes and steady perching. Compare prices and message sellers directly. Cut-throats can be bossy during breeding season, so give them enough space and avoid crowding them with very small, timid finches.
